Have a cold or the flu? While many people are stocking their medicine cabinet with cold and sick day supplies, don't forget to add a new toothbrush to your list.
Xerostomia is the medical term used for Dry Mouth, a condition that results from decreased salvia in the mouth, and puts many seniors at high risk for dental decay.
While it is important for diabetics to take good care of their hearts and their bodies, those suffering from this chronic condition cannot afford to ignore their teeth.
Keeping you safe is our top priority. We know there is growing concern as the outbreak and impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to evolve. Ensuring the health, safety and well-being of our patients has always been important and is especially critical at this time.
The spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) has all of our attention. We wanted to let you know that The Dentists’ Office family is doing everything possible to keep our employees and you, our patients, safe while delivering the best dental care experience possible. Our office will remain open and we are prepared to take care of you and your loved ones.
What We’re Doing
We’re monitoring and following all guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), including taking the steps necessary to reduce the threat of COVID-19 exposure to employees and patients.
We have always had extensive cleaning and sterilization procedures in place that ensure your health and safety, and we will continue to do so.
Our clinical and safety teams are keeping our team members up to date with the latest information from public health offices and the CDC. We are encouraging team members to say at home if they are sick or showing signs or symptoms of possible illness. As with all illnesses, if you have a fever, you should remain home and call to reschedule your appointment until you are feeling better. This will avoid spreading illness to others.
The Dentists’ Office remains committed to caring for you and your family. We are doing everything in our power to continue to provide a safe and healthy environment for our patients and our community, and together we will get through this.
